The show proved to be a real learning and networking platform, with over 12,000 professional visitors from around the globe flocking in to talk to the 725 exhibition standholders and to take in the six plenary lectures, the 56 paper presentations and the four workshops in the conference.

The exhibition was graced by the presence of many of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers who together were displaying a whole host of flow control items, from valves, control valves, pressure relief valves and solenoid valves to electric actuators, pneumatic actuators and hydraulic actuators, to positioners, controllers and limit switches to gaskets, packings and seats …. In short, this really was the whole world of valves under a single roof!
